LV Cable Jointer

Due to work winning swuccess OCU haveopportunities for distribution Jointers to join our SSEN contractteam based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for anexperienced Jointer to strengthen our new connections deliveryteam. You will predominantly be working at LV and 11kV with theoption to also complete a smaller amount of 33kV projects. ExistingScottish and Southern Energy Networks operational authorisation isa must and this can be further developed on with in house training.The role is within our Power division working on our SSEN NewConnections framework. Based out of our Reading depot covering theentire M4 corridor from the M25 toBath.

Responsibilities

• Carryingout Jointing operational activities installing new transformerspillars cutouts and jointing new and to the existing network at LV11kV and 33kV.
• Ensuring the delivery of worksafely to the correct standard of quality andspecification
• Responsible for your own safetyas well as your colleagues
• Driving asafetyfirst culture
• Completion of necessarypaperwork and updating tabletbased works managementsystem

• SSEN OperationalAuthorisations

• NRSWAaccreditations
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills
