Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Immigration Solicitor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of the immigration system.



Key Responsibilities:



  1. Provide expert legal advice and representation in all areas of immigration law, including but not limited to visas, citizenship, asylum, and deportation defense.
  2. Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, and supporting documentation.
  3. Represent clients in hearings before immigration tribunals and courts.
  4. Stay up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies.
  5. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  6. Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about their cases and managing their expectations.
  7. Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.


Qualifications:



  • Qualified Solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law.
  • Strong knowledge of immigration regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and use of legal databases.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality client service.


Desirable Skills:



  • Additional language skills.
  • Experience working with vulnerable clients.
  • Familiarity with immigration law software and case management systems.
