We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Irby Vets

You'll be joining us on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract basis, where you will be working part-time hours. The shift pattern will be: 

Tuesday: 08.30 - 12.00

Wednesday: 08.30 - 12.00

Thursday: 08.30 -12.30

Friday: 08.30 -12.30

Saturdays on a 1:4 rota basis 08.30 - 13.30

About the role:

As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, completing insurance forms, dispensing medications, taking payments and most importantly, providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic.

What we're looking for in our new Veterinary Receptionist:

An excellent communicator with strong empathy Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public Previous Receptionist experience is essential , veterinary experience is a plus Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
