KHR is working with areputable fulfilment centre based in Paddock Wood that is lookingto hire 2 dedicated and highly experienced Warehouse Supervisorspermanently.
The Warehouse Supervisor willlead several teams including goods-in, order processing anddispatch; overseeing performance and facilitating continuousimprovement initiatives.
The ideal candidatewill oversee the warehouse facility's daily operations by ensuringefficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisorwill include, yet not be limited to;
* Set andmonitor team KPIs to ensure targets are met
* Host dailymeetings with the warehouse team to review priorities, addresschallenges, and set objectives for the day
* Providetraining and development opportunities
* Act as thepoint of referral for crucial cases, such as inventorydiscrepancies or urgent orders
* Set up measures toensure inventory accuracy and prevent discrepancies
*Coordinate annual stock take and cycle countingprocedures
* Follow proper slotting procedure to optimisewarehouse layout and maximize efficiency
* Ensurecompliance with H&S regulations
* Confirm orderaccuracy before shipping, ensuring high standards of qualitycontrol
* Investigate incidents and issue reports tomanagement
* Foster a continuous improvement culture
* Monitor productivity and stock levels, identifyingareas for improvement and implementing necessarychanges
* Utilise experience with 5S methodology tomaintain an organised and efficient warehouseenvironment
* Ensure daily maintenance of warehouseequipment to reduce downtime
CandidateProfile
- Previous experience working in asimilar fulfilment environment
- Demonstrate strongleadership skills in a previous supervisor role
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, andlogistics
- Familiarity with relevant software systemsand tools for inventory tracking and management
- Healthand safety certification preferred
- Lean Six Sigmacertification or training would be advantageous
- Hold afull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
The site operates 7 days per week between 6am and 10pm.The Warehouse Supervisor must be able to work across the whole weekincluding weekends, and will be allocated 5 x 9 hours shifts perweek.
