We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at our Church Walk Vets in Barrow-in-Furness

You'll be joining us on a permanent basis, where you will be working 22 per week including afternoon and evening shifts and a 1:2 share in the Saturday morning rota.

About Church Walk Vets:

Church Walk Vets is moving to a brand new, much larger modern site which will have 4 consulting rooms, an isolation ward, walk-in kennels for large breeds, a separate dental suite and in-house laboratory and digital x-ray facilities But most importantly our new site will still have our amazing team, who are passionate, experienced and genuinely love what they do So if you want to work in a supportive and progressive team, look no further

About the role:

As a Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals.

Day-to-day duties of the role will include answering phones, responding to emails, booking appointments, registering new clients, completing insurance forms, dispensing medications, taking payments and most importantly, providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the clinic.

What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:

An excellent communicator with strong empathy Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public Previous Receptionist experience is essential , Veterinary experience is a plus Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing, stressful and emotional situations A positive attitude, a willingness to work hard and excellent teamwork skills
