Are you looking to join a progressive contractor with a diverse workforce delivering first class engineering schemes across the South West?

Due to growth and an increase in workload, an enthusiastic Project Quantity Surveyor is sought to join the commercial team of this expanding Civil Engineering contractor with offices across Devon & Cornwall. As an organisation, they currently operate across Highways, Infrastructure, Bridges, Flood Defence and Water sectors so they are able to offer a great variety of workload.

The Role:

As a proactive Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to undertake the following duties:
  • Subcontract Procurement & Negotiation
  • Works Valuations
  • Agreeing Payments
  • Subcontract Management & Compliance
  • Cost Control & Value Management
  • Commercial Reporting
The Person:
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a recognised contractor
  • Ideally hold a relevant Construction or Engineering related qualification
  • Pro-active & independent with the ability to communicate well with people on all levels.
  • Experience of working on NEC3 / JCT / ICC forms of contract
  • Fully IT literate
