As a PVT Placement Student, you will be expected to;

Work on the test and verification of both current and next generation positioning test solutions. Work on the test and qualification of new features Work on the test and verification of calibration methods and utilities

Job Requirements


Education: completed 1st and 2nd year of Engineering degree course

As a PVT Placement Student, we will be looking for experience or an interest in:

RF testing - Use of RF test equipment, Spectrum Analysers, Power meters and RF oscilloscope. Understanding of data modulation schemes The ability to work well with other departments e.g. Software Development, Hardware Development, Customer Support and Operations The ability to write clear and concise test/bug reports Developing where appropriate, automated test environments, through the use of automation tools and scripts GPS system or receiver knowledge Digital Electronics knowledge An appreciation of RF, GPS and/or Communication Engineering
