If you’re looking for a flexible vet role where you can develop your skills and pursue areas of interest, then we have a great opportunity here for you at Corby Vets for Pets
Our practice is set in a town within the beautiful Northamptonshire County. Just a 5-minute drive and you’re in the rural countryside. We have lots of amazing country parks dotted throughout the town and area. Perfect for clearing your head, opening your lungs, and walking 4 legged friends too. We are a fast paced and busy surgery, however with our strong dedicated team there isn’t anything we haven't and cannot accomplish
The importance of that family feeling is shared from our team to our clients/patients. Just to name one those personal touches we provide are end of life bags including prints of our loved ones.
You’ll be joining an inclusive, supportive team who are passionate about being at the heart of the local community. You will be 1 of our 3 vets, with a recent recruit of a clinical lead, and holds a acupuncture certificate. We aim to set up and run an alternative therapy clinic using laser therapy in the future. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.
We’re generous with our CPD offering, which colleagues are actively encouraged to use to further their interests and develop their skills in a direction of their choosing. So, if you want to pursue a post graduate qualification or certificate, we’re happy to help support that.
Ideally looking for full time hours, but happy to work with you to find a pattern that works for both of us. The weekends are on a 1 in 3 rota basis with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone.
Along with a competitive salary up to 60K, we offer all the standard benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships, competitive salary plus a few more, such as excellent career progression, exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 30% off at Pets at Home), and relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed (we’re an A+ rated sponsor).
You should have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner, and great people skills. You will be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team.
Pets just see people. And just like pets, we embrace everyone’s differences. We work to break down barriers, attract and develop diverse talent, and create a culture that allows everyone to be the best they can be.
Our diversity and inclusion vision is that everyone is welcome and feels part of our group. So, if you think you’re a good match to what we are looking for, and you share our belief that together ‘we’re better with pets’, we’re waiting to hear from you, whatever your background or circumstances.
Location : NN17 5DT
Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you
