Actuator Technician: Supporting our team with maintenance, service, repair and testing of all actuator types

Primary responsibilities Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions Service repair and testing of all Electric Valve Actuator types Installation test and commission of Electric Valve Actuators to Valves in our workshop Provide training and overview of actuator service trainees and apprentices Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business Qualifications Mechanical or Engineering qualification (preferred) Completed an engineering apprenticeship (preferred) Experience Basic electrical skills, fault finding, testing and commissioning of all actuator types Be fully competent working alone on all valve and actuator types Demonstrable workshop or technician experience within a valve actuator workshop environment – preferred Behaviours and skills Professional approach appropriate to the role Good oral and written communication skills. Produces good quality work in a timely manner Team worker, supportive, adaptable, accepts challenge, pro-active Sound organisational skills and structured working methods Integrity, open, honest, enthusiastic and a good team player
