Alongside its core Net Zero carbon, energy and waste consulting services, the company is now establishing a solid platform for growth based on commercial buildings analytics technology, associated services and with support from the wider Bellrock Groups product offerings.

In this role you will develop and deliver Mechanical Engineering Design Consultancy and Project Management Services, this could include all mechanical building and infrastructure services installations for projects with contract values in the range of fifty thousand to several million pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out mechanical surveys including compliance assessments and general mechanical asset surveys.
  • Supporting mechanical design proposals in terms of both technical and strategic approach, as well as being able to produce technical engineering feasibility studies.
  • Producing and recording installation and schematic mechanical drawings through site survey work.
  • Assisting in growing the client base for NIFES and the wider group, positively contributing to the growth and financial performance of the business overall.
  • Be a key player within the technical team ensuring that the company culture and behaviours are displayed at all times.
  • Ensure appropriate quality management, developing the mechanical engineering service line, working with the regional and commercial leads.
  • Driving sustainable growth, statutory compliance and governance.

Requirements

  • Technically competent as a Mechanical Design Engineer along with excellent project management skills.
  • Qualified preferably as a Chartered Engineer or with sufficient academic qualifications and/or experience to be working at that level, having a deep knowledge of the engineering market with at least 10 years direct mechanical engineering design consultancy experience.
  • Demonstrates a broad-based view of issues, events and activities and a perception of the longer-term impact and wider implications.
  • Creates new and imaginative approaches to work related issues. Identifies fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions.
  • Personal motivation commits self to work hard towards goals, showing enthusiasm and career commitment.
