We're looking for a General Manager for a beautiful community pub in Dagenham. Salary up to £45,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.

About the pub

The Pipe Major is a thriving carvery business, laid out into 2 zones with a bar in the centre. The left side is more for dining, and to the right, a relaxed bar area. The pub is ideally located, Situated close to Dagenham town centre and within a 2 minute walk of the tube station. It's also just a 5 minute walk from Dagenham Football stadium where the West Ham ladies play, alongside Dagenham FC. There is a Travel Lodge next door, and an area of rejuvenation with new businesses being built next to the pub.

Currently the site is delivering sales of around £30,000 weekly with a split of 50/50 with scope to drive food sales through the strong carvery and pub classics menu.

The Pipe Major benefits from a lovely, large outside area and seating with a small children's play area, as well as a large car park.

In terms of team, there is a strong Assistant Manager in place as well as newly recruited Head Chef, second AM and Supervisors.

This role comes with large 2 bedroom accommodation above site for the ingoing General Manager.
