About theRole

As Head of MFL you will playa pivotal leadership role in shaping and driving the success of theModern Foreign Languages department. Your responsibilities willinclude:

• Providing visionaryleadership and strategic direction for the MFLdepartment.
• Overseeing the developmentimplementation and delivery of a stimulating and rigorous MFLcurriculum across all key stages (KS3 KS4 andKS5).
• Inspiring motivating and leading a teamof talented MFL teachers fostering a collaborative and dynamiclearning environment.
• Championing theimportance of MFL education within the school community andadvocating for its integration into the broadercurriculum.
• Managing departmental resourceseffectively ensuring optimal utilization of funds andequipment.
• Monitoring and evaluating studentprogress implementing strategies to raise attainment andachievement.
• Establishing and maintainingstrong relationships with parents and guardians keeping theminformed of their childs progress inMFL.

AboutYou

• You possess arelevant degree in a Modern Foreign Language and hold QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teachingqualification.
• You boast extensive experienceteaching MFL across different key stages with a proven track recordof success in raising student achievement.
• Youare a passionate and inspiring leader with excellent communicationinterpersonal and organizational skills.
• Youdemonstrate a strong commitment to professional development andpossess the ability to motivate and lead a team ofteachers.
• You are enthusiastic about creating astimulating and engaging learning environment for students of allabilities.
