The Practice

Donaghadee Dental Centre is a 3-surgery practice, providing mixed NHS and Private treatments, situated in the heart of Donaghadee , close by to the local shops, cafes and transport links. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dental care while fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients. As a vital member of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care and support throughout their dental journey.

The Opportunity

You will join our team on a Part-Time basis, working 1 day per month (Fridays only) , with a view to increase this over time. Responsibilities include:

Conduct oral health assessments and periodontal screenings Perform professional teeth cleaning and scaling Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health practices Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to health and safety protocols

Our fully equipped practice boasts the latest Sirona chairs, fully digital radiography, and Rotary Endo. There is also significant private income potential with a practice plan to boot. You will be supported by our local management with over 2 decades of clinical and management experience.

In addition, you will have access to hands-on training, regular masterclasses, and clinical support, providing the perfect environment to meet like-minded colleagues and grow your skills and knowledge.

Requirements and skills:

Holds a Dental Hygiene qualification and extensive experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrates a compassionate and patient-focused approach Computer literacy is essential Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail Strong teamwork abilities and a positive attitude towards collaboration Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a busy dental practice
