ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a varied position providing accountancy practices from cash control and rent collection to the preparation of financial reports for one of our high-profile clients.

 

Some of your duties and responsibilities

  • Cash Control, Rent, Service Charge and end of year procedures, updating systems
  • Preparing VAT receipts, Reports and Returns, invoices 
  • Liaise with Department Head/Deputy and the Service Charge Manager as appropriate regarding sold and new properties
  • Liaise with Cashiers over the correct allocation of receipts from both tenants and Clients as necessary.
  • Training and managing an Assistant Client Accountant and being responsible for their work.
  • Ad Hoc Reports and Reconciliations as required

 

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • A proactive, practical, and positive approach to work is required.
  • Excellent and professional communication skills with the ability to build good working relationships with your colleagues, both within accounts and the wider business.
  • Studying towards an Accounting Qualification (AAT, ACCA)
  • Organised and have attention to detail
  • Able to manage/supervise a small team
  • IT & Software Skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
