  • Construction Manager Accountable for all Civil Works andassociated financial control via Scheduling (time) SP/ASP andQuality Management on a given project.
  • Ensure that all Service Providers areadhering to client standards processes and procedures as well asall Federal and Local standards.
  • Identifies continuous improvementopportunities.
Interfaces with ExternalInterfaces:
  • ASP/SP Customer PM InternalInterfaces: IM Lead Project Admin Project Sponsor CPMResponsibilities Include
  • Assess and control charges to the agreed site design
Assures that:
  • OnlyCustomers approved materials are installed on the project
  • The agreed CivilWorks guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
  • Attend coordinationand progress meetings
  • Awareness and onsite supervision during where risk ofdisturbances in customer site performance is high.
  • Check that the workingenvironment is maintained at an acceptable level carry out safetyinspections and ensure that tools etc. are in good workingcondition.
  • CivilWorks problem solving as required during the project.
  • Coordinates site activities andassures that all disciplines directly involved in the project arein phase with the Project goals and objectives.
  • Drive schedule activities andtroubleshooting results.
Ensure that:
  • Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meetall the technical specifications with respect to E/// and customerspecifications.
  • Workmanship quality of the installations done by theService Providers is within the Contract client standards andCustomer expectations.
  • All Federal Local and customer safety guidelines andconstruction procedures are enforced during the entire Civil Worksphase of the project.
  • Knowledge in workers safety and work environment safety.
Perform:
  • Site preinspectionsand coordinate postconstruction audits.
  • Site verification.
  • Visual inspection of quality on site.
  • Prepares regularinterval progress reports as required by the project
  • Provide accurate statusinformation on the progress to project management.
  • Provide technical assistance tothe Service Providers and any other suppliers that provide servicesassociated with the Civil Works activities.
  • Reject wrong deliveries ofmaterial to site.
  • Report bad performance and quality on site.
  • Responsible for the properinterpretation and compliance of the civil design plans.
  • Supervise coordinateand monitor works with the Service Providers and other disciplinesthat have an interface with the Civil Works part of the project.
  • Team leadershipfocusing on quality and results.
  • Write claims order and return materials.
  • Maintain and updateconstructionspecific areas of Site Handler including but notlimited to the following:
  • SOW and preconstruction documents (NTP SOW RFDS safetyguidance QA standards etc)
  • NTP receipt verification
  • RFDS submission review and changes
  • Civils acceptancedocuments submission receipt review and approval
  • Civils progress PFA verification(daily)
  • Close outdocument review and acceptance sign off
Construction Manager 2
  • CM2 HasGOOD knowledge and skills.
  • IDENTIFIES and SOLVES complicated problems that requirecareful analysis by ADAPTING existing procedures techniques andmethods.
  • ACTIVELYCONTRIBUTES to improvement and change.
  • Works INDEPENDENTLY.
Experience/Qualification Level
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience:
  • Jobrelatedexperience with project builds over 200 sites Reports to CM3 (Lead)or IM Lead
