As well as Birtley and Chester-le-Street, this role is commutable from Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne, Consett, Durham, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Darlington, South Shields, Wallsend, Longbenton and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
Reporting to the Senior Business Administrator the role of a Receptionist/Administrator will play a crucial role in providing both clerical and administrative support, be involved with the coordination, implementation and communication of procedures.
Your role as a Receptionist/Administrator will be responsible for:
Front of house for the site – first point of contact for Birtley, welcoming visitors to the site and conducting basic checks
Ensuring appropriate sign-in and induction for all visitors and compliance with site Security procedures
General office administration and support for site management
Supporting with administration of projects and initiatives
Daily actions to resolve and clear down blocked tickets to reduce delays in billing, to ensure efficient business operations
Manually checking and processing each ticket received and action accordingly to SLA
Resolving missing ticket issues, manual invoicing, EDI errors
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of a Receptionist/Administrator will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within an administrative field but also enjoy working with other teams. You should possess good communication skills, be confident in organising and planning.
To succeed in the role of Receptionist/Administrator suitable candidates should have:
General administration experience
Excellent IT skills (MS Office and other relevant site systems)
High level communication skills, both verbal and written
Both organisational and prioritisation skills
Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Accurate and precise with strong attention to detail
Flexible approach to deal with a range of ever changing day to day situations
