We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Gartree, a category B Prison located in Leicestershire.

Hours

The site currently offers various days 07:30 to 17:00 Monday - Friday with flexibility.

Salary

This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £38,115 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security. promote safe patient care You will be required to work within the healthcare department and hold direct patient contact, which will be part be of a comprehensive healthcare package, based on the prison services needs.

You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and have current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) to be considered for this role. You will also have relevant post-qualification experience working within a pharmacy environment and multi-disciplinary team
