The post of Team Rector of Gayton, Grimston, Massingham and District is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to minister among small rural committed communities in a beautiful part of north-west Norfolk with easy access to the town of King’s Lynn and the glorious Norfolk coast. Our churches are praying for a priest who will

• discern, equip and encourage vocations
• encourage us to work across the benefice, while maintaining our individual identities
• help us build on our relationships with our 5 village schools
• develop a strategy for pastoral care
• lead worship with flexibility, building on connections between the church and the agricultural year

Key characteristics of post holder:

• an ordained priest in the Church of England, or a Church in communion with the Church of England with a desire to see lives transformed by Christ
• personally rooted and confident in their love of God and God’s love for others
• a love of rural communities
• a team player with a collaborative approach to ministry
• visible and approachable with good people skills
• enthusiastic and organised
• understands the importance of being visible across our communities
