The role:

Solution Assurance Engineer

IAG Cargo is undergoing a huge transformation in the IT applications used to move Cargo around the world. To do this we are embarking on upgrading and replacement of numerous systems.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Solution Assurance Engineer to join our team

As a Solution Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and monitoring of the quality assurance test cases. The Solution Assurance Engineer will define the scope, functions, data sets and parameters required for testing the IAG Cargo Applications. Ensuring a high-quality system providing a robust efficient operation to our customers and employees.

What you’ll do:

Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely meaningful feedback. Review and validate requirements throughout the project’s lifecycle. Work collaboratively with the business analyst, Process Analyst and Technical Team to validate requirements through testing. Ensure ensuring the product being tested performs according to user requirements and within established guidelines. Identify target test items to be evaluated for test effort and defining appropriate tests required and any associated test data. Gather and manage test data that can be used for manual and automated tests. Review and approve test results, developing and tracking test metrics. Work closely with the project team on design and development of new features Create relevant documentation such as test plans, traceability matrixes to evaluate the outcome of test results. Identifying gaps or associated risks to test deliverables. Identify software defects/ improvements and provide solutions where applicable. Communicate with Project Team, Test Team, and Stakeholders to aid in defect resolution. Work with Accountable Project Manager and IT Project Manager to identify and manage risks & issues and ensure the product is fit for purpose. Identify areas for continuous improvement in the Testing area.
