We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic EAL Teaching Assistant to work within secondary schools in the Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students who have English as an additional language, helping them to develop their language skills and achieve their full potential.

Job Title: EAL Teaching Assistant.

Location: Manchester Area.

Salary: £ 400 – 500 , Dependent on experience.

Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary.

Desirable:

- Relevant qualification in EAL or TEFL.

- Experience working in a secondary school setting.

- Experience working with students who have English as an additional language.

- Knowledge of strategies and techniques for supporting language development.

- Flexible, adaptable approach to work.

- Enhanced DBS check.

During your time within the classroom, you’ll be responsible for supporting students with English as an additional language in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, in an effort to develop their learning and allow for steady progress of the pupils who require the most support. It’ll be of paramount importance to monitor the children progress and provide feedback accordingly to the correct team of staff.
