We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Treatment Requirement Recovery Worker to join our team
You will contribute to the safety of communities from Mental health-related crime and reduce recidivism across Torbay and South Devon.
About the role
By collaborating with a dedicated team and under the guidance of a senior clinical psychiatrist or psychologist, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions and engage clients with the right agencies for successful treatment outcomes. Strong communication and networking skills will be key in ensuring timely and effective access.
You will be required to be confident in using case management systems to accurately record client data. You will have previous voluntary or paid experience of working in a client-facing role and using active listening skills on a day-to-day basis. Ideally, you will have experience working with mental health.
The right individual for this role will be motivated, proactive problem solvers who are passionate about delivering a high standard of care to our service users.
Duties of this role include:
- Undertaking Comprehensive Assessments
- Carrying out risk assessments and risk management plans
- Identifying appropriate mental health interventions for assessed clients
- Carrying a maximum caseload of 20 clients
- Facilitating appropriate mental health interventions
- Liaising with partnership agencies to give the best care and support to clients under your care
- Attending and participating in relevant service meetings
- The role might require some evening working
