Role description:

We are looking for QA Consultants to work in our Solution Domain Group deliver quality outputs. QA Consultants are responsible for designing and running tests on software functionality, performance, and usability. QA Consultants conduct tests (often automated), analyse the results, and report observations to the development team. 

To be successful as a QA Consultant, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyse the results. Ultimately, the Software Tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design

The QA will be passionate about delivering exceptional, user-friendly software, and have a drive to innovate and continuously improve testing methodologies.

You will work within a high-performing Agile team delivering exciting new products. Our teams are highly self-organising, and you will be expected to fit in to our self-starting, highly motivated team ethos.

Our products solve problems and unlock data on the physical asset lifecycle. You will be working with a mix of teams who are developing our next generation software products on our Arcadis platform as working with teams who are working our existing product sets. We are rapidly expanding the number and size of our product teams, which you will be instrumental in facilitating. 
 

Role accountabilities


QA Consultant are involved in Pre-planning and Story grooming sessions and especially add value in the following activities:
Defining testable user stories, including acceptance criteria
Determining the testability of the user stories
Creating acceptance tests for the user stories
Participating in project and quality risk analyses

Sprint Planning - Involved during Sprint and especially add value in the following activities:

Draft regression test cases or converting existing regression test scripts into Gherkin test scripts/features
Verifying automated tests using Automated Test Suite
Recording bugs identified during testing in JIRA 
Feedback/collaboration with the test team via Slack and Confluence 
Integrating and Executing Automated Tests on a CI server
Performing testing of new Features

Testing in Sprint QA Consultant are involved during Sprint and especially add value in the following activities:
Testing of new or modified Features
Writing Automated Regression Tests for new and existing features
Integrating and Executing Automated Tests on a CI server
Feedback as soon as possible to the team in case of any issues
Update Acceptance Tests when new scenarios are thought of 
 

Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in testing iOS mobile applications.
Good understanding of iOS and MacOS systems and principals
Proficient in Mobile Automation XCode for simulators and real devices
Experience in creating ios mobile automation test automation framework from scratch using WebDriver IO, Appium, Node js, and Xcode
Writing clear, concise, and readable acceptance tests in Cucumber for use by both
technical and non-technical audiences
Strong knowledge of automation framework concepts and automation best practices
Strong experience working in a Continuous Testing / DevOps environment.
