The Role
As a Café Team Leader, you will be at the heart of creating a smooth and delightful café experience for our guests. Your role will encompass a blend of customer service excellence, efficient order processing, and overall support for our food and beverage operations. You’ll have stellar communication skills, a positive outlook, and a dedication to delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure your team Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Support the team to take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special dietary requests are captured
- Preparation of hot and cold drinks including barista coffees.
- Delivering food and drinks to customers and clearing tables.
- Ensure you and your team adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring the safety and well-being of both guests and colleagues.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic transactions with integrity and precision.

The Person
- Previous experience in a food and beverage role, preferably in a similar establishment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working schedule
- Shifts, Flexible, including weekends and holidays.
