ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Group Financial Controller to play a key role in supporting the CFO and senior management team, providing insights that drive the company's growth and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full responsibility for managing the finance function.
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, covering P&L, balance sheet and Group consolidation.
- Deliver financial analysis and insight on financial performance.
- Ensure robust financial controls are in place and adhered to.
- Own Cashflow and treasury management.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, as well as rolling forecasts and ownership of the 5 year plan.
- Provide leadership and development of the finance team.
SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven experience in a senior financial role within a multi-business unit environment, ideally within the retail and/or hospitality sectors.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in UK GAAP/IFRS.
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills.
- Demonstrable experience in managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
