If you have always wanted to make that career decision of becoming a Personal Trainer, but you’re unsure how to gain your qualification, build your business and learn a new gym environment at the same time? Then the Gym Trainer role is for you. Where we provide the free qualifications, world class teaching by industry excellence and the ability to put theory into practice with providing our new club members with gym inductions.

The Gym trainer is an exclusive 12 month role where you have a robust and detailed career path which will lead you into the role of a fully qualified industry best Personal Trainer with a thriving business in the industry.

Tailored Personal Training and Career Progression

During your first 4 months, you will complete your training period where you will obtain your Qualifications through 1 day a week with the Academy, Virgin Active will support you with 8 hours a week of gym floor time, where you can start to build your reputation with club members.

From month 5 - 12, you will be working in club full time providing in-depth inductions for our new members, all while gaining more training on Products, Sales and Customer Service. You will gain more knowledge in the niche products of Virgin Active, gaining the ability to teach Group Exercise classes all in preparation for you getting ready to take on that Personal trainer role.

Month 13 – You’ve made it You’re a Personal Trainer for Virgin Active.

Qualifications:

  • Throughout the 12 months, you will gain your Level 2 & 3 Personal Training Qualifications. Group Exercise qualifications of your preference can also be gained.
