Package Summary:
- Job Title: Qualified Social Worker
- Location: Shropshire
- Salary: Circa £45k - £50K
Role Description: As a Qualified Social Worker at our client's Family Assessment Centre, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to the residing families by building on the well-established principles and practice standards within the house. Your responsibilities will include giving evidence in court proceedings, documenting the progress of the families, and ensuring that all of policies and procedures are implemented appropriately.
You will work directly with children and their families, foster carers, and other carers to ensure the best interests of the child are met, enabling you to implement individual and personalised care plans. Other aspects of the role include, but are not limited to, ensuring all quality assurance systems are followed, so the families receive the best possible care and support.
Requirements:
- At least two years of experience working as a qualified social worker.
- Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Social Work.
- Valid UK Social Worker Registration.
- Full driving licence is essential.
- Ability to provide consistency of care and support to the family and children in care.
- Experience working with children, families, and external agencies.
- Flexibility to provide support for families and children, with a self-arranged work rota that may involve some evenings and weekends. This role also involves on-call duties.
