The Role

We are looking for a Tutor to join our Newcastle team who has knowledge of delivering Business Administration, Customer Service and Digital Skills. 

Our Tutors plan, prepare and teach a range of knowledge and skills. They support learners throughout their learning journey with vocational and employability skills including English, Maths and personal development. 

You will provide valuable input to our quality approved schemes of work, session plans and delivery resources as required for classroom led sector and employer led courses. Your key task is the delivery of quality facilitation, teaching, learning and assessment and that you encourage and motivate learners to remain on provision and progress into suitable employment.

Working as a Tutor with us, your role will be to deliver innovative, engaging, and motivational learning sessions to our learners, this will develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours and support them with their longer-term goals and career aspirations.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Level 3 Teaching qualification or above– e.g., AET / PTLLS/ CertEd 
  • Assessing qualification L3 or equivalent 
  • At least 2 years vocational experience          
  • IAG Qualification
  • Functional English and maths level 2 or above or equivalent
