Deputy Operational Manager

We are currently recruiting a Deputy Operational Manager. The successful applicant will support the TEC (Technology Enabled Care) Service Manager in the day to day running of the service including operational management, staff support and resource planning.
The Lifeline and Assistive Living Service is a telecare service offering high quality call handling, monitoring and installation of personal alarms, sensors and other technology enabled care equipment to support people to remain in or return to their own homes and be as safe and independent as possible with the use of TEC.
We work in partnership with healthcare professionals and local communities to offer high-quality care in Cornwall. Corserv Care is part of the Corserv Group and provides a range of domiciliary and residential services under one brand. We are a Cornwall Council owned company.
Your job will be:
Ensuring there is the correct resource to monitor and respond to the range of alerts and calls and ensuring appropriate action is being taken.
Ensuring calls answering meets and exceeds the TEC KPI for calls handling performance each month.
Ensuring that the team are responding to callers in a compassionate polite and helpful way and ensure appropriate help is provided as required by completing regular quality assurance.
Remaining up to date and fully conversant with the range of equipment offered by the service, to effectively handle calls and to process referrals and applications by ensuring suitable equipment is provided to meet the service user’s needs. This will include the use of supplier equipment portals to manage equipment settings.
Working directly with the TEC Service Manager to identify performance trends, areas for improvement and action plans to address.
Supporting the TEC Service Manager to identify and progress with service and contract growth opportunities.
About you
Previous management/supervision experience in a similar setting or service
Excellent IT skills and previous experience of using customer databases and systems
Previous performance management experience
Ability to be forward thinking and innovative in the way the service operates
Qualifications & Experience
