Production Specialist

We are now recruiting  Production Specialists  to join our team in Penrith. The role will contain full training but candidates with previous machining experience are also welcome.

£13.29 to £15.35 per hour

Penrith

Immediate start

3 shift rota: 06:00 to 14:00 – 14:00 to 22:00 – 22:00 to 06:00

Mon to Fri only

Full time, permanent contracts

Overtime available at enhanced rates

YOUR ROLE

As part of our Quality Team, you will be working within a fast-paced production environment and your duties will be as followed:

Verifying that products are being supplied to specifications Identifying potential sub-standard materials Preventing substandard materials from entering the supply chain Identifying and segregating any non-conforming items Feedback findings and producing reports Machine setting and basic maintenance Root cause / problem solving Recording down time Working closely with the team to build a “right-first-time culture”

REQUIRED PROFILE

Previous experience in a similar role and environment is desirable however not essential, as training will be provided 'Health and Safety First' mentality Mechanically minded A very keen eye for detail Quality conscious Ability to work independently to an extremely high standard IT skills
