Exciting opportunities are available for highly motivated individuals to join our Cleanliness Services Team and be part of a front line team enhancing patient experience by delivering high standards of cleanliness.
There are 2 Mon - Friday positions available with hours based on the Elective Hub PRH.
We have 1 x 30 hour per week position available working 12-6pm
We also have 1 x 20 hour per week position available working 6pm-10pm
Full training will be given.

Main duties of the job
To work as part of a team providing high standards of cleanliness. You will also be expected to complete deep cleans in other parts of the hospital as and when required. Using chemicals and cleaning equipment responsibly and within health and safety guidelines. Clearing clinical waste in the appropriate manner. Maintaining staff and public safety through appropriate use of warning signage whilst cleaning.
About us
The team of Cleanliness Technicians are made up of Trust staff who are responsible for cleaning the whole hospital. Our aim is to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors. We work closely with IPC and wards and departments to ensure our high standards are maintained. We are a large team covering various shift patterns and our goal is to provide the best service we can.
We pride ourselves on supporting each other and other teams within the Trust.

NVQ in Housekeeping or Industrial Cleaning
Experience

Proven relevant experience of cleaning in a healthcare setting Knowledge of infection, prevention and control Knowledge of cleaning products and COSHH
Skills
Essential
Literacy skills in order to read instructions/guidelines/policies Ability to communicate with staff at all levels, members of the public and patients Ability to work as part of a team-
