Working in conjunction with the preconstruction and delivery teams to promote integrated project delivery. Assist the Project Team by: producing design scope and assist with commercial and contractual engagement; Producing the Design Management Plan (DMP) (and keep it updated) - also the implementation of the BIM execution plan; Proposing options for design solutions; Conducting value engineering; Supporting buildability reviews; Supporting the development of integrated project programmes; Being accountable for producing technical specifications in support of the procurement function; Assessing and developing the subcontract and supply chain design; and Assessing (and managing) design risks and opportunities.
