Support the commercial relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors during the tender and delivery processes. Ensure adherence to relevant Standards and Specifications, identifying deviations from standards and innovations throughout the project lifecycle. Working in conjunction with the preconstruction and delivery teams to promote integrated project delivery. Assist the Project Team by: producing design scope and assist with commercial and contractual engagement; Producing the Design Management Plan (DMP) (and keep it updated) - also the implementation of the BIM execution plan; Proposing options for design solutions; Conducting value engineering; Supporting buildability reviews; Supporting the development of integrated project programmes; Being accountable for producing technical specifications in support of the procurement function; Assessing and developing the subcontract and supply chain design; and Assessing (and managing) design risks and opportunities.
