We are lookingfor an exceptional individual with a strong passion for Mathematicsto lead the Mathematics department and play a vital role in shapingthe future of our students. As the Head of Maths you will have theopportunity to inspire and motivate our talented students whilefostering their love for the subject and nurturing theirmathematical abilities. You will also work closely with ourdedicated teaching staff to develop innovative curriculum andinstructional strategies ensuring our school continues to providean exceptional learning environment. Responsibilities- Leadand manage the Maths department ensuring the delivery of anexceptional and challenging Mathscurriculum
- Provide guidance and support toMaths teachers fostering a collaborative and positive teachingenvironment
- Monitor and assess student progressin Maths implementing effective interventions whennecessary
- Collaborate with colleagues todevelop and implement innovative teachingapproaches
- Mentor and support Maths teachers intheir professional development
- Contribute tothe schools Maths program and extracurricularactivities
- Maintain accurate records of studentassessment attendance andbehaviour
QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Specialization in Mathematics ora related field Postgraduate degree in Mathematics or MathematicsEducation (preferred) Substantial experience in teachingMathematics preferably in a leadership role Indepth knowledge ofthe Mathematics curriculum Excellent leadership and managementskills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team Strongcommunication organization and problemsolving abilities Commitmentto continuous professional development and staying uptodate withthe latest advancements in Mathematicseducation
