Senior Product Owner

OVERVIEW:
Our Technical Platforms team is growing Were looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our team, providing support, knowledge and guidance cross functionally. As a Senior Product Owner, you will manage relationships across the business as well as working closely with our technical Engineers to ensure robust and fit for purpose operations systems.
As a passionate Senior Product Owner, you will work across the business to gather information that will allow you to define business requirements and make commercial decisions on what is crucial to the product roadmap. Your knowledge base will allow you to build successful user cases and product features with user experience in mind.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Defining and prioritising the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirementsCollaborating with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for backend integration projectsWorking closely with development teams to ensure effective implementation of the event-driven microservices architecture on AWSCoordinating with other Product Owners and stakeholders to manage dependencies and ensure a cohesive end-to-end eCommerce solutionRegularly reviewing and assessing the performance of backend integrations, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisationSuccessfully delivering backend integration projects within the agreed scope, budget, and timelineContinuous improvement and optimisation of the event-driven microservices architecture on AWSEnsuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of backend integrationsMaximising the business value and impact of backend integration initiativesWHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Essential Criteria:
WHAT YOU COULD ALSO HAVE (Non-Essential):
AWS certification or equivalent experience, such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS DevOps EngineerExperience with eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerceFamiliarity with other cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft AzureKnowledge of API design principles and best practices, such as REST or GraphQLExperience with CI/CD tools and processes, as well as containerisation technologies, such as Docker and KubernetesThis is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
