Job summary

Our Digital Fulfilment Team have a singular focus on making sure that we are doing everything possible to get colleagues access to whatever they need from IT quickly and simply, whether it's their very first day with the Trust, they've changed role, or they just need something new.

As a member of this team you'll need a relentless focus on customers' needs and an analytical approach to continuous improvement.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone who has experience managing system accounts, IT purchasing, configuring and deploying end user devices and can provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also need to have analytical skills to help drive continual improvement in the team and be continually checking if we are meeting the customers' needs.

By joining the NCA group , you'll become part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking team and will play your part in helping the organisation work towards its ambition of becoming the safest organisation in the NHS.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

Degree in IT relating subject or equivalent level, or equivalent experience GCSE English and Mathematics grade C or equivalent.

Desirable

Technical qualifications Microsoft Certified ITIL Foundation

Experience

Essential

Experience in a medium to large organisation supporting users of IT equipment and systems Experience in a customer focused environment

Desirable

NHS Experience Experience installing/supporting clinical applications within NHS environment

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

Knowledge of IT Hardware such as PCs, tablets and printers Proven ability to facilitate the installation of IT systems and equipment An excellent understanding of Microsoft Operating systems and applications Computer literate: Microsoft Office and the ability to utilise varied information resources Possess an understanding of IT Service Delivery Knowledge of IT policies and procedures including IT security and disaster recovery

Desirable

Knowledge of the use of information systems within the NHS
