We are in need of a kitchen assistant who can take on Kitchen Porter duties.
The main focus of this position is to ensure the very high cleaning standards of not only the pot wash area and everything that goes through that area, but also all equipment, walk-in fridge, defrosting, deep cleaning areas, walls, floors, including the walls and floors under and behind all catering equipment such as fryers and oven. Experience as a KP is an advantage, but we will consider any cleaning experience as a benefit because you will understand the high standards we are expecting and already understand COSHH and health & safety rules. Over time you will also become involved in food preparation.Please consider transportation before you apply, are you able to get to work and home easily?A mixture of day time and evening shifts are included.
This will be a 4 from any 7 day per week position totalling 28 hours per week to start. Hopefully this will grow into a 5 day and 39 hour per position for the right candidate.
