What will my role look like as a Brand Trainer?

Sbarro is an American pizzeria chain that specialises in mouthwatering sold by the slice New York-style pizza and other Italian-American cuisine We are one of the largest quick service Italian chains in the world and our premium secret ingredients & signature recipes served by the kindest, friendliest employees is what keeps our customers content and coming back for more

We are the UK’s ONLY franchise and we are looking for a Brand Trainer to help us on our journey of growth & expansion This role will be responsible for promoting the brand image and culture through the use of targeted training activities, you will be passionate about Pizza and motivated to develop people and up-skill their abilities

This is a hands on coaching role where you will be delivering in-depth training of Sbarro brand standards, operating systems and procedures, along with providing onsite support for new openings and clearly communicating the standards we expect within our stores.

You will play an instrumental role in training store managers in all aspects of opening and maintaining our stores. While maintaining our stores, you will continue championing the training in store and remotely to ensure they are given the right start and resources to perform their roles.

You will be driven to ensure that inductions, training and support offered to our teams is second to none and they have all the tools they need to succeed in their roles You will work closely with the brand, operations and learning teams to identify where focus is needed; leading and coordinating training and development activities, championing training and development within the brand.

In the next three years, the primary focus of your position will be to assist in the intense roll out of our new store openings across the UK; which will include travelling to different locations.

What would my main responsibilities be as a Brand Trainer?

Assist with the intense roll out plan of new store openings across the UK over the next three years (this role will involve large periods working away from home), whilst managing training timelines to ensure alignment Ensuring commitment to the role travelling across the UK inclusive of multiple overnight stays for a potentially long duration Ensure Brand Standards are communicated effectively via extensive training to employees with insight and enthusiasm Update and maintain detailed training records for all stores and maintain training completion data and succession planning Primarily focusing on training employees for new store openings and manage training timelines along with opening dates Ability to adapt their communication and training styles to fit the needs of the audience; inclusive of remote/virtual/1-1/team learning Be a Brand Ambassador of Sbarro & EG Group Ensure Health & Safety, Food Safety and also Hygiene Procedures & Standards are maintained and followed appropriately Assist in the development of training processes and operational material and providing feedback to operations and Brand Manager; inclusive of any issues that may prevent store openings Ability to identify, attract, retain and develop talent, whilst creating an environment for employees to learn and grow Understand HR policies and procedures and be able to effectively communicate to management team Responsible for helping in the recruitment process, developing a pipeline of talent for internal progression of roles
