About the Role

Exciting opportunity for a versatile Relief Security Officer with Securitas in the bustling Middlesbrough area Join our team and work 48 hours per week, covering a mix of days, nights, and weekends across multiple sites as and when needed.

As a Relief Security Officer, your great timekeeping ensures a reliable and consistent presence. Your tenacity and problem-solving capabilities make you adept at handling challenges that may arise. With independent thinking and the ability to work on your own initiative, you contribute to the overall security and safety of the sites. Your high personal standards of work set the bar for excellence in every aspect of your role.

Job Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • This site has a variety of duties that will keep the successful applicant engaged.
  • There are learning opportunities as well as valuable weigh bridge training.
  • Respond appropriately to varying and fast changing priorities
  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.

  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.
  • Weighbridge operations
  • Gatehouse operations
  • Front of house
  • Access control
  • Personnel access control
  • Visitor and contractor processes to adhere to.
  • Dealing with incidents as they arise



Essential Skills
  • Full SIA Licence
  • Driving licence alongside own vehicle
  • 2 years security experience would be beneficial
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A five-year check able employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment
