Role Summary

Are you a motivated and flexible registered nurse ready for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit a Band 5 registered nurse to join our existing team on Petter Day Treatment Unit. We are a busy, forward thinking Gynaecology Unit encompassing gynaecology day surgery and many different clinic specialities including urodynamics, early pregnancy assessment, colposcopy, hysteroscopy and infertility.

We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic and motivated individuals, who have a passionate interest in caring for patients with a variety of gynaecological needs and who are keen to learn lots of new skills. If you feel you are a good communicator, committed, competent, can show courage, care and compassion then we want you in our team

The post holder will be working within all aspects of the gynaecology day treatment unit and outpatient setting. This involves admissions and discharges, pre and post op care, assisting with treatments in the outpatient setting, chaperoning in clinics, working closely with Consultants and patients. We run clinics in relation to all aspects of women's health, from early pregnancy assessment, to post menopausal bleeding, termination of pregnancy, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, fertility to name a few. We are a forward thinking and developing area which is very keen on the development of staff and nurse led services.
