Our client, a reputable veterinary clinic in the charming town of Somerton, Somerset, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. With a beautiful clinic located in the heart of the town, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead a skilled team in a well-equipped facility.

Location: Somerton, Somerset
Salary: £80,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Clinic Features:

  • Fully equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, multiparameter anaesthetic monitor, and other essential veterinary aids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality veterinary care and surgical services for a variety of species.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of veterinary surgeons, nurses, and support staff.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of clinical care, hygiene, and safety at all times.
  • Efficiently manage caseloads and collaborate with colleagues to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with the latest veterinary practices and advancements.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
