We require an experienced, highly motivated and innovative Medical/Respiratory Physiotherapist to join our team in NHS Borders. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good organisation, time management, problem-solving and prioritisation skills. Previous medical/respiratory experience is essential.
Working within multidisciplinary teams in the acute setting, you will be responsible for triage, prioritisation and management of a complex caseload. You will provide assessment and intervention to patients across a variety of settings, including ITU, MAU, acute medical wards and our paediatric ward as required. You will be part of the out of hours service that provides a service 7 days a week and an evening on-call service. The successful candidate will provide education and advice to patients, their families and other health care and multi agency professionals.
