Reception Teacher, part-time. £115-£150 per day, 1 academic year.

A wonderful infant school based in Nuneaton is looking for a teacher on a part-time basis to teach in their Reception class. This role covers maternity leave. They would like the teacher to work every Thursday and Friday for the full academic year starting on Thursday, 5th September. You may well be asked to attend teacher training day at the beginning of term, however, this will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The days are non-negotiable, this role will not include planning and therefore your pay will reflect this - if you are asked to attend staff meetings/ training/ write end of year reports, then you will be paid an additional amount for this. 

If you're looking for more hours but would like 2 fixed days per week, then please do apply as we are terribly busy with supply and can therefore top up your week with 1 - 3 days, on supply. However, if 2 days is all you're looking for, then perfect 

The school would like to meet suitable candidates either this week or next for an informal chat.

What you'll need to succeed 

  • To be successful in this particular role, you must have experience of working in Early Years
  • To be available every Thursday and Friday for the 2024/25 academic year
  • You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so.
  • You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
