Known for providing exceptional early childhood education and care for children aged 1 – 4 years, our nursery offers a nurturing and inclusive environment focused on building a strong foundation for each child's growth and development.

Position Overview:

As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for the children. Working with our committed team, you will facilitate learning, encourage social interaction, and support the overall well-being of the children. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and passion for child development are key to ensuring a positive experience for both the children and their parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, and cognitive development.
  • Provide individualized care to meet each child's unique needs.
  • Foster a warm and welcoming environment that builds positive relationships among children, staff, and parents.
  • Monitor and document children's progress, behaviour, and development.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members on curriculum planning and implementation.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about their child's activities, progress, and any concerns.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
  • Understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A caring and patient demeanour with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Basic first aid and safeguarding training (desirable).
