At Imperial Consulting, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent service while helping customers make informed decisions about their utility needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Glasgow. This role involves engaging directly with customers, providing face-to-face support at retail locations and promotional events, with a strong focus on selling utility services such as energy and broadband packages. Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers in person at retail outlets, promotional events, and other venues, helping them understand their utility options and recommending the best solutions for their needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering utility product information, and resolving issues on the spot.
  • Promote and sell utility services, including gas, electricity, and broadband, by explaining the benefits of switching providers or upgrading to more efficient packages.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly approach in all customer interactions, ensuring that each person leaves satisfied with their experience.
  • Help set up and maintain promotional areas, ensuring they are organized and visually appealing, attracting customer attention.
  • Achieve daily and weekly sales targets, working collaboratively with team members to meet company objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and product offerings to provide customers with accurate, up-to-date information.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and market trends to help refine our approach to sales.

Requirements:

  • Full right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas).
  • Must not have applied to any Imperial Consulting positions in the last 30 days.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers face-to-face.
  • A customer-centric mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, target-driven environment, focused on achieving sales.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales is preferred but not essential as full training is provided.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a desire to grow within the company.
