Main duties of the job

To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of theoperating theatre team and to participate in the assessment of patient care needs andimplement and maintain agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practiceprovide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-OperativeEnvironment.

The Responsibilities

Implementand evaluate care plans as appropriate of surgical equipment and patientconditions Monitoran assess patient condition, respond to changes in condition and propose/makechanges to care plan as required Delegateand supervise juniors, unqualified and less experienced Workin an MDT following local protocol and standards Awarenessof the effective management of resources in the department Participatein clinical trials/research when required Provideleadership model and demonstrate specialist knowledge and high standards of clinicalpractice and provide support Planand prepare equipment to needs and procedures

To be successful in applying for this role you will need:

Relevant degreeor equivalent Currentrelevant professional registration Minimum 2years post-qualification experience Enhanced DBS UK/NHSexperience Experience ofworking in an MDT Proficient ITknowledge and Microsoft Office skills
