The position of Class 1 Night Trunk Driver involves:

This will involve trunking between various depots, making multi-drop collections and deliveries within the Pallet Network.Loading and unloading of vehicle using a LST and double deck trailer.Dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers’ expectations.Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Trunk Driver:

Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.Experience of using double deck trailers is advantageous.Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.Working to deadlines.Confident, polite and a team player.Good geographical knowledge.Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
