What you'll be doing
Responsible for the preparation of the corporate tax return for EE Ltd; Support the annual corporation tax compliance cycle –preparation/review of statutory account disclosures through to tax return submissions for a proportion of the BT subsidiary portfolio (c10-15 entities). Second reviewer on statutory account tax disclosures for remaining entities in the BT subsidiary portfolio (c20-25 entities) Responsible for preparation of the Group RDEC claim Support the personal and technical development of the offshore team in India. Drive and lead on efficiency improvements through to development of processes and controls Drive and lead the identification of opportunities for the development and improvement of data information processes that underpin the tax returns. Assist with the provision of ad hoc tax advice and planning support to the UK businesses.
The skills you'll need
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) Experience in the identification of tax technical issues and their resolution. A good understanding of tax processes and control frameworks as applied to CT compliance matters and the delivery of process improvements. Detailed knowledge of the UK corporation tax regime. Communication of relevant tax issues to non-tax staff to ensure greater understanding and awareness Excellent project management skills to ensure prompt delivery of accountabilities.
