What you will do:

Due to maternity leave, the opportunity has arisen to cover a secondment in Mental Health Physiotherapy services from August 2024 – April 2025

You will have the opportunity to work with the mental health physiotherapy team in an inpatient setting at Woodland View, ACH. Community development/learning opportunities may also be available.

This is a role suitable for those who would like to know more about the role of physiotherapy within a mental health setting, and for those who would like to gain valuable experience providing a range of physiotherapy techniques for people with mental ill-health.

You must have at least 1 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist at rotational B5 level, and be able to demonstrate why working in mental health is of interest to you to apply.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

Diploma/MSc/BSc in Physiotherapy Current Health Professions Council registration Proven clinical experience in relevant clinical specialty Evidence of continuing professional development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Recognised additional postgraduate qualifications relevant to the post Practice education and clinical development of others

22.5 hours per week
