What will you be doing?
As a Estimating Manager for BES Electrical, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of technical pricing within the business. This role involves managing a team of two Estimators, pricing housing installation projects, managing the schedule of rates, and writing scopes of work for Electric Vehicle (EV) installations.
You will:
Manage and oversee all pricing activities within the business, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Provide leadership and support to two Estimators, who are responsible for remedial quotations based on Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs). Regularly update pricing to reflect changes in material costs, labour rates, and inflation. Write detailed scopes of work and create technical quotes for Electric Vehicle installation projects. Develop accurate costings and manage the pricing for all housing installation projects. Supervise, mentor, and guide two Estimators responsible for pricing remedial work arising from EICRs. Work closely with the sales team to prioritise and expedite quotations as needed. Meet and exceed business KPIs related to quotation turnaround times and accuracy.As part of our team, you will get:

To be join our team, you will need:
Proven experience in estimating or pricing management, must be a qualified electrician. Familiarity with housing installation projects, remedial work pricing, and EV installation projects. Experience managing a small team or providing leadership to Estimators. Strong understanding of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and the ability to price remedial work accurately.
