Tasks

Complex PsychosisPractitioners work clinically to provide rehabilitationinterventions aimed at preventing the loss of patients skills andproviding early help rehabilitation for people in the communitywith complex psychosis. Additionally developing new pathways andcommunity activities to increase community engagement (reducesocial isolation) building on communityassets.

Requirements
  • Mentalhealth assessment skills including risk assessment and supportplanning to navigate complex carepackages.
  • Sound clinical skills and ability tomake decisions with professionalaccountability.
  • Case managementskills.
  • Ability to provide advice informationemotional and practical support to service users andcarers.
  • Expert judgement and analytical skillsin all areas of clinical practice and decisionmaking
  • Excellent interpersonalskills.
  • Excellent prioritisation and delegationskills
  • Leadership skills and ability to providesupervision to other staff.
  • Highly skilled inall aspects of clinical written and communication skills to avariety of individuals and teams.
  • Prioritiseown workload including agreeing and meetingtargets/priorities.
  • Ability to use common ITpackages e.g. databases spreadsheets Microsoft word andoutlook.
  • Ability to perform moving and handlinginterventions.
