We are inviting applications for the Item Checker role for Higher Accounting for either or both the question paper and or assignment.
The Item Checker role profile provides full detail of the role, selection criteria and key performance measures. An Item Checker is responsible for reviewing questions, items or tasks and appropriate supporting marking instructions for course assessments under the direction of the Principal Assessor which must be undertaken within the conditions, time frames and arrangements set by SQA.
The successful applicants will be required to attend a checking meeting which will be held on dates between 8 and 17 August. Fees are paid for attendance at meetings in own time. Expenses will also be paid.
